Your new job
As an inspector, you will have the opportunity to work with preventive maintenance on Caterpillar's largest mining machines. This includes tasks such as inspecting trucks and wheel loaders and monitoring the condition of the machines through regular inspections in the field/workshop as well as via our systems.

You will be part of a team that works together to provide our customers with the best service. The work location is Aitik, and you will work in the truck workshop within the mining area. The working hours are shift 7/7 daytime 06:00 - 16:00.

Your experience
Experience working as a mechanic or similar is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have a strong interest in machines and how they function. A high school education with a focus on technology is considered a merit. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with larger machines or experience as an inspector in another industry.

You need to have knowledge of Swedish both orally and in writing. You also need to have knowledge of English as troubleshooting and service literature is in that language. Since computers are used a lot in the work, you need to be computer literate and have an interest in using technical tools.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities
You are meticulous and have good collaboration skills, which is important as you will be part of a team of mechanics. You enjoy solving problems and have an eye for detail. Good service is important to you, and you can see what needs to be done independently. You always want to deliver high quality to the customer, and with your interest in machines, you have a desire to learn new things.
